Ensure that schools identify and implement effective curriculum and instructional practices as well as make categorical funding decisions to assist the schools in meeting the goals for student achievement.
School Site Councils work with school staffs and principals to revise each school’s Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), a document that all schools must submit to the Board of Education for approval each year.
Members include, principal, teachers, and parents.
